Description of Change: A new clamp for the fuel injection lines on C6.6 engines has been introduced. The new clamp is an improved design.Adaptable To: New 395-1633 Clip replaces 278-5180 Clip .Do not step on the high-pressure fuel lines. Do not deflect the high-pressure fuel lines. Do not bend or strike the high-pressure fuel lines. Deformation or damage of the high-pressure fuel lines may cause a point of weakness and potential failure.Note: If possible, in certain applications, the torx screw for the electronic unit injector clamp can be loosened. A loose electronic unit injector clamp will assist in the alignment of the electronic unit injector with the fuel injection line. Once the electronic unit injector and the fuel injection line are aligned, and the connections are tightened finger tight, the torx screw should be tightened to the correct torque.Refer to the updated Disassembly and Assembly for the correct procedures to remove and install the new clamp and the fuel injection lines.
