2. Remove six bolts (1), the washers and sheet assembly (2) from under the cab.

View From Under Cab3. Disconnect two spring assemblies (3) from the pilot control valve (travel).4. Put identification marks on six hose assemblies (4) that are connected to the pilot control valve (travel) for installation purposes. Disconnect the six hose assemblies from the pilot control valve. Put plugs in the ends of the hose assemblies to prevent oil loss and to keep dirt out of the hydraulic system. 5. Remove the rubber floor mat from the cab.6. Remove four bolts (6) and the washers that hold the pilot control valve (travel) to the cab floor. Remove pilot control valve (5). The following steps are for the installation of the pilot control valve (travel).7. Put pilot control valve (5) in position in the opening in the cab floor. Install four bolts (6) and the washers that hold it.8. Install the rubber floor mat in the cab.9. Check the condition of the O-ring seals used in the ends of the six hose assemblies that connect to the pilot control valve (travel). Connect six hose assemblies (4) to the pilot control valve (travel) in their original locations. Tighten the hose connections to a torque of 40 5 N m (30 4 lb ft).10. Connect two spring assemblies (3) to the pilot control valve (travel).11. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.12. Start the machine, and check the operation of the travel motors. Also, check for leaks.13. Install sheet assembly (2) and six bolts (1) and the washers under the cab.Disassemble & Assemble Pilot Control Valve (Travel)
Start By:a. remove pilot control valve (travel)
Do not mix the components of the pilot control valve (travel) during disassembly. All components should be reinstalled in their original locations. Put identification marks on all components to prevent mixing.
1. Be sure the outside of the pilot control valve (travel) is clean prior to disassembly. 2. Remove two socket head bolts (3) and pedal (2) from each hand/foot control.3. Remove four bolts (1) and the washers. Separate the two hand/foot controls from the valve assembly. 4. Disassemble both control levers as follows: a. Loosen nut (6), and remove knob (9) from the lever assembly.b. Remove four socket head bolts (4) and the washers. Separate lever assembly (5) from the pedal assembly (7).c. Remove rubber cover (8) from each pedal assembly (7). 5. Remove two socket head bolts (10) and block (11).6. Remove rubber bellow (12) from valve assembly (13). 7. Remove setscrew (14) from pedal (15). Remove camshaft (16), and separate pedal (15) from cover (17).8. Remove two bushings (19) from cover (17).9. Remove two socket head bolts (18). Separate cover (17) from valve assembly (13). 10. Remove two plug assemblies (20) from valve assembly (13). 11. Disassemble plug assemblies (20) as follows:
Do not mix the components of plug assemblies (20) during disassembly.
