3. Remove two nuts (1) and the washers that hold pipe assembly (2) to the exhaust manifold. When the muffler assembly is removed, remove the gasket used between pipe assembly (2) and the exhaust manifold. 4. Remove four nuts (3), the washers and bolts that hold muffler assembly (4) in position. Remove the muffler assembly from the machine.5. Loosen the clamp, and remove pipe assembly (2) from the muffler assembly.6. Loosen the clamp, and remove the extension pipe from the muffler assembly. The following steps are for the installation of the muffler group.7. Check the condition of all parts used in the muffler group. If any of the parts are damaged, use new parts for replacement.8. Install the muffler group in the reverse order of removal.
