Access to the engine oil filter and oil filter base can be made from under the machine. 1. Using Tool (A), remove engine oil filter (3).2. Remove four bolts (1) that hold oil filter base (2) to the side of the cylinder block. Remove oil filter base (2) and the gasket. The following steps are for the installation of the oil filter base and engine oil filter.3. Check the condition of the gasket used between the cylinder block and the oil filter base. If the gasket is damaged, use a new part for replacement.4. Install oil filter base (2) in the reverse order of removal.5. Install engine oil filter (3).
