Remove & Install Tachometer Drive
1. Remove bolts (1) and the clamps that hold adapter assembly (2) in position.2. Remove the adapter assembly and coupling from the governor housing. 3. Remove coupling (3) and O-ring seal (4) from adapter assembly (2). The following steps are for installation of the tachometer drive.
Typical Example4. Inspect the parts for wear or damage. Make a replacement if necessary.5. Install O-ring seal (4) and coupling (3) on adapter assembly (2).6. Install the adapter assembly in the governor housing. Make sure that the coupling engages with the shaft of the governor.7. Fasten the adapter assembly to the governor housing with bolts (1) and the clamps.
