Start By:
Remove the rear final drive, brake, and wheel.Note: Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1075 for further explanation of the tooling involved during the removal procedure.
The Power Train Electric Drive System and the Accessory Power System will contain hazardous voltage levels during machine operation and for a period of time after machine shutdown.Do not remove any covers that will expose energized electrical components while the engine is operating. The space between the body and the frame becomes a zero clearance area when the body is lowered. Failure to install the retaining cable can result in injury or death to personnel working in this area.
Personal injury or death can occur from heavy components falling during removal or installation.Properly support the component with a suitable lifting device during removal or installation.

Open cover (1) .

Disconnect harness assemblies (2) and grease hose assembly (3). Disconnect clip (4) .

Disconnect harness assembly (5) and ground strap (6). Disconnect clip (7)

Disconnect cable assemblies (8) .

Remove nuts (9) and remove plate assemblies (10) .

Remove bolt (14). Remove the coupler.
Reposition hose assembly (12) .

Attach Tooling (A) to electric motor (13). Refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1075 for further explanation of the tooling involved during the removal procedure.Note: Only use the following hardware to install Tooling (A) .

183-5105 Hard Washer
The weight of electric motor (13) is approximately 4100 kg (9020 lb).
Remove bolts (11). Remove electric motor (13) .

Install Tooling (B) before storing or transporting electric motor (13) .Note: Only use the following hardware to install Tooling (B) .
