Introduction
The problem identified below does have a known permanent solution. Use the solution detailed below to correct the issue.Problem
The eight 143-0116 Bolts (Engine Mount Support) may loosen on the 308E CR and 308E SR Excavators. The loose bolts can result in damage to engine components.Solution
Inspect the torque of the eight support bolts. If the bolts are found to be loose, have your dealer technical communicator submit a service request and reference this Technical Information Bulletin.

Harness clip
Remove the harness clip to access the engine mount support bolts.Inspection Procedure
Check the clearance between the support and the engine flywheel housing by using the thickness gauge.Note: The thickness gauge should not enter into the gap between the support and housing.
Inspect the torque of the eight 143-0116 Bolts . Apply the static inspection torque in the direction of tightening.Note: The static inspection torque for the bolts is 80 N m (59 lb ft). The bolts should not move when the static inspection torque is applied.
If the thickness gauge entered the gap, or the bolts moved when the static inspection torque was applied, tighten the bolts to a torque of 100 20 N m (74 15 lb ft).
