This Program must be administered assoon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI10223" as the Partnumber and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim DescriptionCode and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair isdone after failure, use "PI10223" as the Part Number, "7751" as the GroupNumber, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMSDescription Code. This Revised Service Letter replacesthe March 9, 2003 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the AffectedProduct.PROBLEM
The Circuit Breaker needs to be changed to a fuseholder with a ceramic fuse on certain G3408C and G3412C Spark Ignited Engines.This will bring the terminal box into certified compliance.AFFECTED PRODUCT

This will bring the terminal box intoCSA compliance for use in a gaseous environment. Until the circuit breakerhas been retrofitted with the fuse holder and fuse DO NOT use the circuitbreaker CB-3 to interrupt power to the terminal box. This could potentiallyresult in an explosion and fire hazard. You will not be charged for theservice performed.Contact your local Caterpillar dealer immediatelyto schedule this service.
