Safety PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR REPLACINGTHE HYDRAX SUPPLY TUBES ON CERTAIN G3606 AND G3608 ENGINES

This Program must be administered assoon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI10217" as the Partnumber and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim DescriptionCode and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair isdone after failure, use "PI10217" as the Part Number, "7751" as the GroupNumber, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMSDescription Code.PROBLEM
The hydrax supply tubes need to be replaced oncertain G3606 and G3608. The first G3606 and G3608 inline engine with theADEM III control system experienced breakage of the hydrax supply tubesat early hours, which could result in a burn and/or a fire hazard.AFFECTED PRODUCT

If the engine is in service replace the 1319372Tube As. and the 1253902 Tube As.
Install 2 8T1887 and 2 8T1888 Clips on the linesusing a 0S1591 Bolt and a 9C5344 Spacer, 2 3V3308 washers, and a 9S8752Nut.
Also install an 8T1887 and 8T1888 Clip in placeof the current clip on the rear crankcase cover.
If the engine has less than 20 hours replace theclips only.
