A 395-1094 Lifting Eye As 2 Start By:
Remove the engine oil pan.
Remove the turbocharger.
Remove the crankshaft front seal and the wear sleeve.
Remove the water pump.
Remove the engine oil pump.
Remove the auxiliary water pump.
Remove the exhaust elbow.
Remove the alternator.
Remove the accessory drive

Remove elbow (1) and tube (2) from front housing (3).

Remove cover (4) and the gasket from front housing (3).
Remove cover (5) and the gasket from front housing (3).
Remove cover (6) and the O-ring seals from front housing (3).

Remove bracket (7) from front housing (3).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to front housing (3).
Remove bolts (8) from idler shafts (9). Note: Do not remove bolts (11) from idler shafts (9). Idler gears (10) do not need to be removed.

Remove bolts (12) from front housing (3).
Remove bolts (13) from front housing (3).
Remove bolts (14) from front housing (3).
Remove front housing (3) and the gasket from the engine. The weight of front housing (3) is approximately 255 kg (560 lb). Installation Procedure
Install front housing (3) in the reverse order of removal.
