1. Place the trailer package on stable, level ground. Engage the parking brake. For additional security, chock the wheels. 2. Set the jack in the horizontal position. Pin the jack in place.
To avoid bleeding the brake system, do not uncouple the flexible brake line. The flexible brake line is long enough to stay coupled while the tongue assembly is being removed.
Flexible brake line.3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the generator set package. Disconnect the brake line from the generator set base assembly. Remove the clips when the lines are disconnected.4. Disconnect the trailer clearance lights. The trailer clearance lights connection is located in the battery compartment.
Tongue assembly support (1) and tongue attachment bolts (2).5. Properly support the tongue assembly for safe removal. Remove the eight tongue attachment bolts.
Wiring and brake lines must not be pinched.
Place the tongue assembly aside for later reattachment to the running gear.
Frame attachment bolt.6. Remove the eight frame attachment bolts, four bolts on each side, from the running gear.
Do not approach while package is being lifted. Package is extremely heavy. If dropped on or collided with, serious injury or death may occur.

* Keep all non-essential personnel clear of the area* Load and unload the package on a level surface* Block the transport vehicle so the vehicle cannot move* Keep the trailer bed and the trailer ramps clean of clay, oil, and all materials which can become slippery* If ramps are used, use ramps of adequate size and strength, low angle, and proper height* When using the enclosure lifting eye, be certain the crane and/or lifting devices have adequate capacity* Chain and block the package securely for transporting* Check the package height and width for travel clearances, and check the package weight for load limitationsInstalling the Generator Set Enclosure Package on the Trailer
In order to install the generator set enclosure package on the trailer, reverse the removal procedure.Install the tongue assembly to the running gear. Torque the bolts to specifications. Refer to Table 1 in the Appendix.Reconnect the clearance lights. Inspect the lights and brakes before towing.
