Loosen hose clamp (2) and disconnect hose (1) from breather assembly (3).
Loosen band clamp (4) and remove breather assembly (3) from the valve mechanism cover. Remove the O-ring seal. Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Coat the bore for the O-ring seal with clean engine oil prior to installation. Install the O-ring seal. Install breather assembly (3) and band clamp (4) on the valve mechanism cover. Tighten band clamp (4) to a torque of 4.5 0.5 N m (40 4 lb in).
Connect hose (1) to breather assembly (3) and tighten hose clamp (2).
