Typical Example1. Set the transmission selector to neutral and engage the parking brake. Push in the neutral lock. Shut the engine OFF.2. Remove the two hydraulic lines. Cap and plug the lines and fittings to prevent fluid loss and contamination.3. Remove cover (7).4. Loosen two nuts (4) and (5). Loosen nut (8).5. Remove two bolts (1) and separate the valve from the transmission housing.6. Remove cable assembly (6) from cam (2). The following steps are for the installation of the neutralizer valve. 7. Apply 9S3263 Threadlock to the threads of cable assembly (6). Install cable assembly (6) and leave nuts (4), (5) and (8) loose until dimensions "B" and "C" are set. Dimension "C" is equal to 12mm (.472 in) and dimension "B" is equal to 14mm (.551 in).8. Install neutralizer (7) on the transmission and fasten with two bolts (1). Tighten nuts (4) and (5) to a torque of 38 2 N m (30 2 lb ft).9. Readjust cam (2), if necessary, so that it is centered between switch fingers (10). With cam (2) centered, tighten nuts (8) to a torque of 8 5 N m (6 4 lb ft).10. Install the cover. Connect the two hydraulic lines to the valve.
