Information:

Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Verify that all of the components of the secondary steering pump are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.Note: Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Attach a suitable lifting sling around secondary steering pump (4). Secure the suitable lifting sling to a hoist.
Position secondary steering pump (4), the O-ring seal, and diverter valve (6) for the secondary steering system to the output transfer gear case as one unit. The weight of secondary steering pump (4) and diverter valve (6) is 100 kg (220 lb).
Install two nuts (13) and the washers that secure secondary steering pump (4) to the transfer gear case.

Position bracket assembly (11) to diverter valve (6). Install two bolts (12) and the washers that secure bracket assembly (11) to the diverter valve (6). Install two bolts (10) and the washers that secure bracket assembly (11) to the output transfer gear case.
Repeat the procedure for the bracket assembly on the opposite side of diverter valve (6) .

Connect three hose assemblies (9), (8), and (7) to diverter valve (6) .
Connect hose assembly (5) to diverter valve (6). Connect hose (3) to secondary steering pump (4). Close the door assemblies behind the cab.

Replace two drain plugs (2). Tighten two drain plugs (2) to a torque of 68 7 N m (50 5 lb ft).
Fill the two hydraulic tanks for the steering and brake system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Steering and Brake System Oil - Change" for the correct procedure to fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" for the appropriate oil.
The capacity of the steering and brake hydraulic system is 267 L (70.5 US gal).

The power train guard is removed for photographic purposes.
Close drain adapter (1) on the bottom of the output transfer gear case. Fill the output transfer gear case with oil.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Transmission Oil Level Check". Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" for the appropriate oil. The approximate capacity of the power train system is 379 L (100 US gal).
After idling the machine for two minutes, recheck the oil level of the output transfer gear case. If necessary, fill the output transfer gear case.End By:
Separate the frame lock link. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Frame Lock Link - Separate and Connect".
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
