Removal Procedure
Allow the engine and the muffler to cool down before performing this procedure. Severe burns can occur from contact with a hot engine or a hot muffler.
Note: The procedure is identical for both mufflers.

Loosen clamps (1) in order to disconnect tube (2) from the muffler.

Disconnect elbow (3) from muffler (4) .

Attach a suitable lifting device and a hoist to muffler (4) .

Remove four bolts (5) that secure muffler (4) to the engine enclosure. Bolts are located in the top of the hydraulic pump room. Use a hoist to remove muffler (4). The weight of muffler (4) is 47 kg (104 lb).
