Information:
Note: The EMCP 3.1 does not have any digital outputs. The EMCP 3.2 has one digital output. The EMCP 3.3 has two digital outputs. Each digital output can sink up to 300 mA. The outputs have diagnostics.
The outputs have diagnostics for a short to battery when the driver is on.Note: If a short to battery persists for 5 seconds, then the driver will be disabled until the condition is no longer present.
The outputs have diagnostics for an open circuit when the driver is off. There are two separate procedures that must be performed in order to program the digital outputs. The first procedure involves programming the Active State of the output as either "Active High" or else as "Active Low". The second procedure involves programming the Digital Selectors.Function and Navigation Keys
ReferenceThe call outs that are in this section can be found on the EMCP 3 panel in Systems Operation, RENR7902, "Electronic Control Module (Generator Set)".The keys that are listed below are used for programming the EMCP 3 and navigating within the menu structure.ReferenceFor a full explanation of the use of the function keys and the navigation keys that are referenced in this section, refer to the information in Systems Operation, RENR7902, "Electronic Control Module (Generator Set)".Note: The enter and escape keys are considered as function keys. The scroll left , scroll right, scroll up, and scroll down keys are considered as navigation keys.Escape (9) - The "Escape" key is used in order to navigate up (backward) through the menu structure. The "Escape" key is used to back out of any data entry screen during set point programming before any changes to the existing data are accepted.Enter key (10) - The "Enter" key is used in order to select a highlighted menu item or in order to save a programmed value.Scroll Right key (11) - Used during numeric data entry in order to choose the digit to edit. Also used during certain set point adjustments in order to select or deselect a check box.Scroll Down key (12) - Used in order to move down through the main menu or to navigate within a list in order to highlight one of the items. Also used to decrement digits (0-9).Scroll Up key (13) - Used in order to move up through the main menu or navigate within a list in order to highlight one of the items. Also used to increment digits (0-9).Scroll Left key (14) - Used during numeric data entry in order to choose the digit to edit. Also used during certain set point adjustments in order to select or deselect a check box.Programming the Active State of the Digital Output
Note: The outputs are internally controlled in the EMCP 3. The active state is programmable but should always be set to "Active High".In order to program the "Active State" of the digital output, perform the following steps:
Navigate to the "DIGITAL OUTPUTS" menu.
At the "MAIN MENU", use the scroll keys and enter key to select "CONFIGURE".
Use the scroll keys and enter key
