1. Lift the boom and move the stick in or out until bucket (1) is in the position shown. Lower the bucket to the ground. 2. Remove bolts (3) from each pin (2). 3. Install tooling (A) on pins (2), then remove the pins from bucket links. Remove washers with top pin. 4. Lift the boom until the stick and link are free of the bucket. The weight of the different buckets goes from a minimum of 468 kg (1040 lb.) to a maximum of 720 kg (1600 lb.). The following steps are for the installation of the bucket.5. Put the bucket in position under the stick. Lower the boom until the bore in the stick is in alignment with the bore in the bucket. Put 5P960 Multipurpose Grease on the bores for the pins.6. Install pins (2) along with spacers or washers.7. Install the bolts (3) that hold the pins in place.
