Clean the mating surfaces of the torque converter and of the engine.
Lubricate the O-ring seal that is located between the torque converter housing and the engine with clean transmission oil. Install the O-ring seal on the torque converter housing.

Install Tooling (A) to the torque converter assembly.
Attach a suitable hoist and lifting chains to Tooling (A), as shown.
Use the hoist in order to carefully install the torque converter assembly. The weight of the torque converter assembly is 635 kg (1400 lb).
Install bolts (13) that secure the torque converter assembly to the engine. The torque for bolts (13) is 240 40 N m (175 30 lb ft).

Connect hose assembly (12) to the bottom of the torque converter priority valve.

Install the bolt and bracket (10) .
Connect hose assembly (11) to the torque converter housing.

Connect hose assembly (9) to the torque converter relief valve.

Connect hose assembly (8) to the torque converter priority valve.

Connect two hose assemblies (7) to the transmission oil pump.

Connect two electrical connectors (6) .
Install clips (5), the bolts, and the washers.

Connect hose assembly (4) .

Connect hose assembly (1) to the torque converter assembly.
Install clip (2), the bolt, and the washer.
Fill the transmission with oil. For the correct procedure, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for your machine.End By:
Install the input drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Input Drive Shaft - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
Install the implement hydraulic pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Implement, Pilot and Braking) - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
Install the steering pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Steering) - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
