the following steps in order to set up a level laser:
When the laser receiver is positioned correctly on the machine, set the height of the laser transmitter so that the laser beam will strike the laser receiver.
Press the power button in order to turn on the laser transmitter and allow the laser transmitter to self-level. The laser transmitter always powers up in the automatic self-leveling mode. When the head begins transmitting, the laser is level.
Enter the percent of grade. Both the grade axes and the cross slope axes should have "0.000%" entered into the display.Note: Because no grade or no cross slope is entered into either axis, it is not necessary to align the laser transmitter's axes. The laser transmitter will provide a flat and a level laser beam in all directions (360 degrees).
