(2) 353-8089 Electronic Control GpThe new 324-7875 Control Box Gp (1) replaces the original 242-8988 Electronic Control Gp.The new control box is adaptable to the above engines back to first production.For engines that are already equipped with the new control box, the new 353-8089 Electronic Control Gp (2) inside the box can be serviced separately.All applications and engine arrangements use the same 381-8821 Engine Ratings Electronic Software Gp.The new control box and the original control accept the same harnesses from the thermocouples. The new control box requires different mounting hardware.Note: Because the new control box is thicker than the original control, the scaffolding for engine work may require modification in some cases.Refer to Table 1 to look up which kit will work best with each engine. Keep in mind that these kits do include the 324-7875 Control Box Gp.
