Information:

Start By:a. remove bucketb. remove tilt leverc. remove tilt cylinder1. Put caps on the tilt cylinder oil lines.2. Use the machine hydraulics, and lift the lift arms until the front and rear pin bores are level. 3. Put Tooling (A) in position under the lift arms as shown. 4. Remove bolt (1) and clamp from the tube assembly. 5. Remove two bolts (2) and reposition the hose assembly out of the way. 6. Remove grease fitting (3) from pin (5).7. Remove bolt (4), the washer and spacer from pin (5). 8. Fasten a nylon strap and a hoist to the lift cylinder.9. Install Tooling (B) on the pin. Fasten a nylon strap and a hoist to Tooling (B) so it can not fall when the pin is removed.10. Use Tooling (B), and remove the pin from the lift arms.11. Lower the lift cylinder down on to the front frame.12. Repeat Steps 3 through 9 for the cylinder on the other side of the machine. 13. Fasten nylon straps and a hoist to lift arms (6) as shown. 14. Remove grease fitting (8) from pin (7).15. Remove bolt (9), the washer and spacer from pin (7).16. Remove four nuts (11) and reposition light assembly (10) out of the way. 17. Install Tooling (C) on the pin. Fasten a nylon strap and a hoist to Tooling (C) so it does not fall when the pin is removed.18. Use Tooling (C), and remove the pin and spacers from the front frame.19. Repeat Steps 12 through 15 to remove the pin from the other side of the machine.20. Remove the lift arms. The weight of the lift arms is 782 kg (1725 lb). 21. Remove lip-type seals (12) from the bores in the lift arms. 22. Use Tooling (D), and remove the bearings from the frame end pin bores of the lift arms.23. Remove bearings from the lift cylinder pin bores of the lift arms. See Remove Lift Cylinders.24. Remove bearings from the bucket end pin bores of the lift arms. See the topic "Remove Bucket" in this module for further information.Install Lift Arms-938F
1. Lower the temperature of all the bearings before they are installed in the lift arms. 2. Use Tooling (A) to install the bearings in the frame end pin bores. The bearings must be installed in the center of the bores.3. Install the bearings in the lift cylinder pin bores. See Install Lift Cylinders.4. Install the bearings in the bucket end pin bores. See Install Bucket. 5. Use Tool (B) to install lip-type seals (12) in the bores. The seals must be installed with the lip of the seals toward the outside of the bores.6. Put 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease in all of the pin bores of the lift arms. 7. Fasten nylon straps and a hoist to lift arms (6) as shown.8. Put lift arms (6) and Tooling (C) in position as shown.9. Install rear pins and spacers (7) in the lift arms and the front frame.10. Install
