When submitting claim for Parts Stock Action, Use the appropriate 99Z as the s/n, the appropriate Service Letter Program Number as the Part number in the Part Causing Failure field, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program.Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.

PROBLEM
The 211-7826 Cylinder Block Liners could have a crack towards the top of the crown of the liner, but not limited to this specific area.
ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect all 211-7826 Cylinder Block Liners in dealer parts stock.
Note: 3500 Cylinder Packs are not affected by this issue.
Check to determine if a cylinder block liner is within the suspect cylinder liner serial number range. Refer to Image 2. The last five digits on the bottom of the liner are the serial number. Refer to Image 1.
If a 211-7826 Cylinder Block Liner IS NOT within the suspect range, return the liner to the original packaging. Mark the package to indicate it has been inspected according to this program. Return the part to dealer parts stock.
If a 211-7826 Cylinder Block Liner IS within the suspect range, remove the liner from dealer parts stock. Refer to the Parts Disposition.

SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
Submit one claim for all 211-7826 Cylinder Block Liners inspected and possibly removed from dealer parts stock. 0.25 hours is allowed for each 211-7826 Cylinder Block Liner inspected.
PARTS DISPOSITION
NACD:
Hold all 211-7826 Cylinder Block Liners for a Parts Return Request (PRR). A Parts Return Request (PRR) will be issued to you through the Send-It-Back process after the claim is submitted. Make sure to list the service letter program number on the packing slip and include the closed work order paperwork.
EAME, LACD, and APD:
Hold all 211-7826 Cylinder Block Liners for 30 days for a possible Parts Return Request (PRR). Make sure to list the service letter program number on the packing slip and include the closed work order paperwork.
If a Parts Return Request (PRR) is not issued to you after 30 days through the Send-It-Back process, handle the parts in accordance with your warranty bulletin on warranty parts handling.
