1 1 229-5469 Bearing Locknut Torque to 300 30 N m (221 22 lb ft).
Use the following procedure in order to tighten the set screws of locknut :
1. Tighten the set screws in 180 degrees pattern to 4.00 1.25 N m (35.40 11.06 lb in).
2. Again, tighten the set screws in 180 degrees pattern to 7.2 0.2 N m (63.7 1.8 lb in).
2 1 313-2760 Impeller Bore of the impeller for new shaft is 25.350 0.012 mm (0.9980 0.0005 inch).
3 1 258-8726 Pump Shaft Diameter of the pump shaft for impeller is 25.400 25.410 mm (1.0000 1.0004 inch).
Lubricate the shaft lightly with clean engine oil before pressing the impeller on the pump shaft.
During assembly, pump shaft must be flush with the face of the impeller within 0.15 mm (0.006 inch).
4 1 235-4643 Water Pump Seal During assembly, Install the water pump seal dry into the pump housing. Install the water pump seal within 2 minutes after the water pump seal has been removed from the tube. Use the correct installation tool. Do not use hand pressure to install water pump seal.
5 1 4N-1230 O-Ring Seal Lubricate with P-80 or 5P-3975 Rubber Lubricant.
C - - Distance between the impeller and the pump housing is 13.95 mm (0.549 inch).
