8T1000 Electronic Position Indicator Group.The 8T1000 Electronic Position Indicator Group can also be used on fuel equipment test benches as a permanent installation, for testing and calibrating fuel injection pumps. The indicator group has a "floating" zero. By pressing a touch switch, the display can be set to zero anywhere in the measurement range of the probe. The display will then show the distance and direction the probe shaft moves from this zero position.
The standard 8T1002 Probe, part of the 8T1000 Electronic Position Indicator Group, has a 25.4 mm (1.00") measurement range. It has a 9.52 mm (.375") diameter mounting stem and a 19.0 mm (.75") body diameter that allows it to be mounted and used with standard dial indicator fixtures and accessories. Extension cables allow the indicator group to be used from remote locations.
