Keep the head as close to the machine as possible. When the machine is being operated on the highway or transported, the head must be secured. Secure the head in a horizontal position close to the machine. Secure the head to the boom by using a chain.The head rotates by the rotator that is mounted to the top of the head. The head has no stops that limit rotational travel. The head is capable of rotating in more than a full circle. The only limit on multiple rotations of the head is the hydraulic lines and the wiring harnesses.
The Harvester head is free to rotate completely on its axis. There are no stops that limit the head from turning more than one full revolution. The operator should be aware that the hydraulic lines and the wiring harnesses may become entangled if too many revolutions occur.

The damper assembly controls the swing speed of the head. Tighten bolts (1). The maximum torque of bolts (1) is 30 N m (22 lb ft). This will allow the head to swing at a slower speed. Loosen the bolts (1) in order to allow the head to swing faster.
