Remove nut (1) and the washer that fastens gear (2) on the water pump.
Remove gear (2) from the water pump.

Remove four bolts (3) and the washers. Remove mounting plate (4) .

Inspect lip seal (5) in mounting plate (4) for wear or damage. If the seal is worn or damaged, use a new part for replacement.

Remove three bolts (6) and the washers. Remove cover plate (7) .

Use a 3/4-16 Bolt to drive pump impeller (8) off the water pump shaft.
Remove the key from the water pump shaft.

Remove O-ring seal (9). Inspect the O-ring seal for wear or damage. If the O-ring seal is worn or damaged, use a new part for replacement.
Remove bolt (10), the O-ring seal, and cam (11). Inspect the O-ring seal for wear or damage. If the O-ring seal is worn or damaged, use a new part for replacement.

Remove plate (12) from the water pump housing. Inspect locator pin (13). If the locator pin is damaged, replace plate (12) with a new part.

Use Tool (A) to remove retaining ring (14) that holds the seal assembly in the water pump housing.

Use Tool (B) to remove retaining ring (15) that holds the bearing assembly in the water pump housing.

Use a suitable press to drive shaft (16) out of the water pump housing from the impeller end of the water pump housing.

Use Tool (C) to remove the seal assembly out of the water pump housing.

Use Tool (A) to remove two retaining rings (17) and two washers (18) that fasten the bearings and the spacer on the water pump shaft.

Use a suitable press and Tool (D) to drive two bearings (19) and spacer (20) off the water pump shaft.
