Due to a faulty batch of 191-6563 Temperature Sensor Gp, the coolant temperature and air inlet temperature sensors could indicate a false temperature on 3054 and 3056 engines. The following symptoms could occur if the coolant temperature sensor fails:
Poor cold starting
Premature warnings
Premature derates
Premature shutdowns
Incorrect readings on the temperature gaugeIf the air inlet temperature sensor fails, the following symptoms could occur:

Premature shutdownsTemperature sensors that have date code "NANDNM" or date code "UNNDNM" should be changed at the earliest opportunity or at the next service. The date codes are stamped onto the lower body of the sensor. The date codes are not visible on an installed sensor.
