PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Group Number 1
1. Disconnect Connector C from Connector D.

2. Make three lines. Refer to Image1.2.1 for the part number and length.

3. Connect the lines to the 149-5051 Connector. Refer to Image1.3.1.

4. Make nine lines. Refer to Image1.4.1 for the part number and length.

5. Connect each line to Connector A and/or B. Install the 8T-8737 Plug to slot 7 of Connector A. Splice the lines at the point of S1 and S2. Refer to the following schematic in Image1.5.1. Refer to Image1.5.2 for examples of splicing.
Note: All the wires must be in touch to each other on splicing. No open circuit is allowed.
Note: Metal parts must be isolated on splicing. No short circuit is allowed.

6. Tie the harness with five 3S-2093 Cable Straps. Refer to Image1.6.1.

7. Install a new 149-5050 Relay between the spacer and the clip. Tighten the bolt to a specified torque of 12 +/- 3 N.m. Install the harness between Connector C and Connector D. Fix the harness with three 3S-2093 Cable Straps. Refer to Image1.7.1.

1. Disconnect harness connector (A) of the conditioner group. Refer to Image2.1.1.

2. Install the new 498-1138 Harness Assembly between the connectors. Tie the harness assembly with two 7K-1181 Cable Straps. Refer to Image2.2.1.
