Do not let the metal end of magnetic input cables contact the machine frame during operation.6V2100 Multitachs assembled after May 1, 1981 have fuses for circuit protection. 6V2100 Multitachs assembled before May 1, 1981 do not have fuses to give protection to the electrical circuits. It is necessary to open the multitach to find out if your multitach has these fuses. These fuses are soldered to each lead of the power connector as shown in Illustration 2. Special Instruction, Form SEHS7807-01 gives the information necessary for correct power connections, fuse installation, fuse replacement and information to repair damaged circuits.
