Remove cylinder block assembly (94) from the pump housing.

Put identification marks on seven piston assemblies (100), on slipper guide (99) and on cylinder block (95) for assembly purposes. Remove seven piston assemblies (100) from slipper guide (99) and cylinder block (95) .
Remove retainer guide (98), retainer (96) and three pins (97) from cylinder block (95) .

Possible injury can result when removing the retaining ring and spring.Spring force will be released when the retaining ring is removed.Be prepared to hold the cylinder assembly as the retaining ring is removed.
Put cylinder block (95) in a press. Install a suitable drive plate of the same size as washer (103). Apply slight compression on washer (103) with the press. Remove retaining ring (104) and slowly release the spring compression.
Remove washer (103), spring (102) and washer (101) from cylinder block (95) .

There is a small notch in the outer diameter of valve plate (107). This notch must sit in pin (105) in order to prevent damage to the pin and the plate. Valve plate (107) also consists of a different surface on the top side and the bottom side. It is important to take note of the soft metal layer on the upper side of the plate. Damage can occur to the cylinder block if the plate is reinstalled upside down.
Remove valve plate (107) from the pump housing (106) .
Check pin (105) for wear or damage. If the pin is worn or damaged, replace the pin.

Note: Bearing (108) will be damaged when the bearing is removed from the pump housing.
Remove bearing (108) from the pump housing.

Remove the five bolts and servo cover (110) from the pump housing. Remove gasket (109) from the servo cover.

The inside of the servo piston is different at each end. Note the way the servo piston is installed in the main housing so it can be reinstalled in its original position.
Remove five bolts (111) and servo cover (113). The servo piston which is attached to the servo cover will also be removed from the pump housing with the cover. Remove gasket (112) from the servo cover.Note: If the servo piston is disassembled, it is necessary that a depth gauge is used to obtain the distance from the top of threaded screw (114) to the surface of servo cover (113). This length will be necessary during assembly.
Remove the locknut (115) from the threaded screw. Remove servo cover (113) from threaded screw (114) .

Note: There is a total of six rings in four grooves on servo piston (116) .
Remove O-ring seals (119), O-ring seals (118) and backup rings (117) from servo piston (116) .

Note: If the servo piston is disassembled beyond this point, use a depth gauge to obtain the distance from the top of threaded screw (114) to the top of spring guide (123). This distance will be necessary during reassembly.
Remove retaining ring (125) from the top of the servo piston. Remove the servo spring assembly from servo piston (116) .
