Please refer to thelisting below for the appropriate print.6RZ units use 177-2086 rev. 038ZZ units use 191-6462 rev. 015XZ units use 206-6463 rev. 02On 2AF, engines modifications will need tobe made to the muffler mounting on both sides as shown in the picture below.
Shut down engine and allow it to cool down.
Cover exhaust manifolds with drop cloth or otherprotective material.
Remove oil supply lines from air shutoff hydraulicactuator.
Disassemble oil supply lines from control solenoidon side of engine.
Remove air shutoff valves and hydraulic actuatorsfrom engine.
Disassemble inlet air tubes from turbochargers.
Install heat shield on rh exhaust manifold.
Replace o-ring seals on all inlet air tubes, fromturbos to aftercooler inlet. Lubricate seals with glycerin or equivalentbefore installation.
Install inlet air tubes back onto turbochargers.
Install new air shutoffs onto inlet air tubes.See Photo 2.

Install new oil tubes from control solenoid tohydraulic actuator on each shutoff. Use original mounting hardware, unlessdamaged.
Install new air shutoff wiring harness.
Install one 5F0304 plug with two 4B8407 washersinto tapped hole in the air shutoff. Torque to 10 ft-lbs.
Photo 314. Flash the latest software file (accordingto SIS Web cross reference)15. Open both air shutoff valves until theylatch in the open position. When manually closing ASO valves, handleby hand, DO NOT attach rope or cable to the ASO handle as a means to remotelyactivate. Bending of the ASO shaft will result rendering the ASO inoperative.Substantial force (approx. 25 lbf) is required to manually activate ASO.Testing air shutoff operation
1. While operating engine at 1200-1500 RPMwith no load, depress emergency stop button, both air shutoffs should close. Hydraulic actuator oil lines need tobe bled at the actuators to purge trapped air after installation.
Remove protective covering from exhaust manifoldsand clean any oil spills up.
Use group 2155505 as a reference forassembly. Top View
