Connect the high-pressure wand to the nozzle holder, and open the nozzle valve. Refer to illustration 6.

Attach the nozzle holder to the extension wand, and open the valve.
Fill media pot with Armex® HydroFlex Formula Blast Media. Then place the lid on the pot to keep any water/humidity from getting into the blast media. Refer to illustration 7.

Pour Armex Hydroflex into the pot (Hopper).
Regular baking soda is not recommended as a blast media. Baking soda that is not specially formulated for use as a blast media will result in major flow problems.

Adjust the media valve to get the correct amount of media to the nozzle.
While activating the high-pressure washer, adjust media flow using the media flow control valve. The valve is located at the bottom of the media pot. Observe the media flow through the clear plastic tubing. As a steady flow is achieved, there is no need to touch the media flow control valve again. Refer to illustration 8.Note: The media must enter on the top of the nozzle so water does not run back into the media plastic hose.
Stop the machine on level ground. Stop the machine in an area away from the mat. Should parking the machine on a grade be necessary, block the tracks securely.
Start washing the machine using the media with the nozzle valve in the open position.Note: When using the soluble media injector-power cleaning system, do not spray directly at these components, electrical connections, or electrical cables. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual (OMM) section under machine cleanup for the items that should be avoided and the items that need to be cleaned.
When finished washing the machine, close the nozzle valve and rinse. This step will remove any media that is still on the machine.Illustrations 9, through 17 were achieved by injecting baking soda into high-pressure water as described above.
