Assemble the actuator with inlet port (2) in the upward position and with outlet port (5) in the downward position. Tighten nut (8) to the specified torque.
Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of clevis (6).
Assemble rod (7). Provide equal engagement of the threads at both ends of the rod until the distance between the center bores of the rod ends is approximately the specified length.
Assemble rod (10). Provide equal engagement of the threads at both ends of the rod until the distance between the center bores of the rod ends is approximately the specified length.
A final adjustment of the linkage is required to ensure that the actuator is not over rotating the valve stem when the fuel control valve is in the closed position. The actuator must still close the fuel control valve.
Fully extend the actuator and close the fuel control valve.
Rotate the clevis by 1/2 turn so that the clevis moves away from the fuel control valve.
Make sure that the metering valve will still reach the full open position. Tighten nuts (9) and nut (11) to the specified torque.
