Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the drift reduction valve.Note: The drift reduction valve (Boom) and the drift reduction valve (Swing) are identical. Both valves can be removed from the machine without removing the main control valve.
Thoroughly clean the outside of the drift reduction valve prior to disassembling the drift reduction valve.
Place the drift reduction valve in a clean work area. The weight of the drift reduction valve is 36 kg (80 lb).

Remove bolt (3) and cover (2). Remove nut (5) and the washer. Remove relief valve (4) .

Remove valve (6) .

Remove backup ring (7), O-ring (8), backup rings (9), O-ring (10), backup rings (11), O-ring (12) and O-ring (13) .

Remove bolts (14). Remove manifold (15) and O-ring seals. Remove plugs (16) and O-ring seals.

Remove the pressure relief valve (17), and the O-ring. Remove relief valve (18) and the O-ring.

Remove plugs (19) and O-rings. Remove bolts (20). The cover (21) is spring loaded.

Remove O-ring (22) and backup ring (23) .

Remove valve (24) and spring (25) from the body.
