2. Remove locking bolt and washer (1). Tighten the nut against rear recoil spring pilot to relieve the pressure against recoil spring stops.
Do not attempt to remove recoil spring until pressure is relieved against recoil spring stops.
3. Remove recoil spring stop mounting bolts. Remove the recoil spring stops.4. Remove the recoil rod-to-cylinder mounting bolts and nuts. Move the cylinder as far to the rear as possible. Move the recoil rod forward against the stop. 5. Attach hoist and remove the recoil spring - weight 450 lbs. (205 kg).Install Recoil Springs
1. Attach hoist and position the recoil spring in track roller frame.2. Install the recoil spring stops and mounting bolts.3. Slide the cylinder toward the front and the recoil rod toward the rear. Install the cylinder-to-rod mounting bolts. 4. Loosen the recoil spring compressing nut (1) until it extends .060 .030 in. (1,52 0,76 mm) past the end of bolt. Install the locking bolt and washer.5. Install the track roller frame guards.concluding step: a) connect track
