Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the gear motor.

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove bolts (1), control housing (2), spring guide (4), spring (3), and gasket (5).

Remove cap (6), O-ring seal (7), nut (8), O-ring seal (9), coil assembly (10), and O-ring seal (11) from solenoid (13).
Remove bolts (12), solenoid (13), O-ring seal (14), and spool (15) from control housing (2).
Remove plug (16), O-ring seal (17), and shuttle valve (18) from control housing (2).
Remove plug (19), O-ring seal (20), and orifice (21).
Remove plug (26), O-ring seal (25), and orifice (24).Note: Orifice (21) and orifice (24) are not interchangeable.
Remove plug (22) and O-ring seal (23).

Remove cap (30), nut (29), and displacement limiter (28) from motor housing (27).

Remove bolts (31) and cover (32).

Remove O-ring seal (33) from cover (32).

Remove bolt (36).
Remove bolt (38), speed sensor (37), and O-ring seal (39) from motor housing (27).
Remove bolts (35) and piston head (34) from motor housing (27).

Remove plug (40), O-ring seal (41), and spring (42).
Remove plug (46), O-ring seal (45), spring (44), and spool (43).
Remove loop flushing valve (48) and O-ring seal (47).

Remove set screw (49). Use a magnet to remove pin (50) from servo piston (51).
Remove hold down screw (55), valve segment (54), and gasket (53) from piston head (35).
Remove setting lug (52) from servo piston (51). Remove servo piston (51) from piston head (35).
Remove servo piston head (56). Remove seal group (57) from servo piston head (56).

Remove bearing plate (61) from cylinder block (60). Note orientation for reassembly.
Remove synchronizing shaft assembly (59).
Remove alignment pins (58).

Remove retaining ring (62) and lip seal (63).
Remove shaft locking screw (67) and O-ring seal (66).
Press shaft assembly (64) out of housing by pressing the front face of shaft.
If replacing piston rings (65), use a small pair of expanding pliers to remove.
