INSTALL FRONT IDLER AND YOKE
1. At installation, carefully install rod (1) through the seals in the pilot when front idler (2) is put in position on the roller frame. The weight of the front idler and yoke is 408 kg (900 lb).2. Install the bolts that hold guards (3) to the roller frame.End By:a) connection of track REMOVE AND INSTALL SPROCKET SEGMENTS
1. Move the machine forward or backward to put the sprocket segment in a position to be removed.2. Remove bolts and nuts (1) that hold the sprocket segment to the sprocket hub. Remove the sprocket segment.3. Put a new sprocket segment (2) in position on the sprocket hub. Mating surfaces must be free of paint. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the washer face and threads of the bolts and nuts for the sprocket segment. Install the bolts and nuts (with the head of the bolt against the hub). Tighten the nuts to a torque of 300 55 N m (220 41 lb ft). Tighten all the nuts another 1/3 (120°) turn. A minimum torque of 570 N m (420 lb ft) is necessary after 1/3 (120°) turn.4.
