3. Disconnect cables (2) from the emergency steering pump. Put identification on the cables so they will not be mixed at assembly.4. Disconnect hose assemblies (1) from the pump. 5. Remove four nuts (3) and lockwashers. Use two persons to remove emergency steering pump (4). The weight of the emergency steering pump is 55 lb. (25 kg).Install Emergency Steering Pump
1. Put emergency steering pump (1) in position on the frame. Install the lockwashers and nuts that hold it. 2. Connect hose assemblies (2) and (3) to the pump. 3. Connect cables (4).4. Fill the steering system hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. See LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE GUIDE.
