3. Close the two valve assemblies from water pump to the heater group. Access to the valve assemblies is in the right front wheel compartment. 4. Remove two bolts (3) from cushion (4). Remove the cushion.
Put plugs or caps on all air conditioning lines so foreign material and moisture will not get in.
5. Disconnect coupling (5) from the valve fitting. Put plugs or caps in heater lines to prevent loss of coolant.6. Loosen the clamp and remove hose (6) from the heater core. 7. Disconnect coupling (9) from the air conditioner core.8. Loosen the clamp and remove hose (8) from valve (7). 9. Disconnect wires at connector (10). 10. Remove hose guard (11) from under the cab. 11. Put identification on hoses for use at assembly. Disconnect hoses (12), (13), (14) and (15) from the steering metering pump tube assemblies. Put plugs and caps in all the openings. 12. Disconnect tubing (16), wiring harness (17) and hose (18). Remove the bolt from clips (19). Also, remove bolt (not shown) from the clip on left side of hydraulic fittings. 13. Disconnect electrical plug (20) from the wiring harness. Remove the bolt that fastens the clips to the frame. 14. Put identification on battery cables for correct installation. Remove battery cables (21), electrical plugs (22), linkage rod (23) and tachometer drive cable (24). 15. Put identification on all oil lines for correct installation. Disconnect oil lines (25). Put plugs or caps in all openings. 16. Remove two battery cable clips (26) from right side of cab. 17. Fasten a hoist to the catwalk group (27). Remove the bolts that fasten the catwalk to the cab. Remove the catwalk (27). The weight of the catwalk group is 185 lb. (84 kg). 18. Remove bolt (28) that fastens the ladder bracket to the frame. 19. Fasten hoist to the ladder (not shown) and remove bolts (29) from the ladder and front support assembly (30). Weight of the front support assembly is 90 lb. (41 kg). Check size and location of the bolts during removal. 20. Fasten a hoist to the top of the cab. Remove four bolts (31) that hold the right front of the cab to the frame. 21. Remove four bolts (32) that hold the left front of the cab to the frame. 22. Remove four bolts (33) that hold the left rear of the cab to the frame.23. Remove four bolts (34) that hold the right rear of the cab to the frame.
Make sure all lines are disconnected and clear of the cab before the cab is removed.
24. Remove cab (35) from the frame. The weight of the cab is 2530 lb. (1139 kg).Install Cab
1. Fasten a hoist to the cab (1). Put the cab in position on the frame. The weight of the cab is 2530 lb. (1139 kg). Do not tighten the bolts that hold the cab to the frame until all bolts have been installed. 2. Install sixteen bolts (2) that hold the cab to the
