Reversing the auger can cause serious damage to the support bridge. In order to prevent damage to the support bridge do not reverse the auger more than 178 25 mm (7 1 inch) of rotation measured at the outside diameter of the auger.

Auger Reverse Control - The auger reverse control is located on the hydraulic tank at the right rear of the tractor. Use the auger reverse control when you need to dislodge an object that is stuck in the auger.Note: Run the engine at idle when you are reversing the auger.REVERSE - Push the switch toward the front of the tractor for the REVERSE position.OFF - The switch is spring loaded. The switch will return to the OFF position when the switch is released.Note: You must dismount from the tractor in order to operate the reverse control. All personnel must be clear of moving parts. Before you dismount the tractor, perform the following procedure:
Disengage the auger.
Move the transmission control to the NEUTRAL position.
Engage the parking brake.
Lower the bowl to the ground.
