BLOCK AS 0366456 - Caterpillar

(1) Remove support (1) and shield (2). See the Service Manual. Remove clip (3); it will not be used with the new shield. Three 5D353 Bolts and three 9M6527 Washers removed from clips (3) and (5) will be used to install the new shield. (2) Weld 7D4726 Block (4) on the bottom of support (1) to the dimension shown; use 1.5 (.58") fillet welds on each side of the block.(3) Remove clip (5) from bracket (6) with an Arcair torch. (4) Fasten plate (7) to 5V3839 Shield (8) with three 5D353 Bolts and 9M6527 Washers. (5) Put shield (8) in place, then install support (1); fasten plate (7) to block (4) with two 5D353 Bolts and 9M6527 Washers. See the Service Manual for the remainder of the installation.
