The engine crankcase breather is located on top of the engine valve cover. The breather is on the right side of the engine.
Loosen the breather outlet hose clamp. Remove the hose from the breather cover.
Remove the bolt that is on top of the breather. Remove the engine crankcase breather.
Check the condition of the breather seal. Replace the seal if the seal is damaged.
Wash the breather in a clean nonflammable solvent.
Shake the breather until the breather is dry. You may also use pressure air to dry the breather.
Check the condition of the hose. Replace the hose if the hose is damaged.
Install the breather. Install the retaining bolt.
Install the hose and the breather outlet hose clamp.
