Start By:
Separate the tracks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Separate" for the machine that is being serviced.

Remove bolts (2) and the washers from guard assembly (1). Remove two bolts (3), the two washers and bar (4) from guard assembly (5) .
Carefully remove guard assembly (1) from the track roller frame.

Remove bolts (6), the washers and guard assembly (5) from the track roller frame.

Remove bolts (9) and the washers on both sides of guard assembly (8) .
Remove bolts (7) and the washers that hold the top part of guard assembly (8) .

Remove three bolts (10) .

Fasten straps to both sides of idler (12). Support idler (12) with a hoist.
Remove the nut and retaining bolt (11) and pin (13) .
Remove idler (12) and the yoke. The weight of the idlerand the yoke is approximately 263 kg (580 lb).
