Apply Tooling (C) to the mounting surface of brake cylinder assembly (5) .Note: Align the location marks that were made during the removal procedure.
Attach a suitable lifting device onto axle housing, axle shaft, and wheel flange (4). The weight of axle housing, axle shaft, and wheel flange (4) is approximately 204 kg (450 lb). Position axle housing, axle shaft, and wheel flange (4) onto brake cylinder assembly (5) .
Apply Tooling (B) on the threads of bolts (3). Install bolts (3). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 280 14 N m (210 10 lb ft).

Install tie rod (1). Install nut (2). Tighten nut (2) to a torque of 280 + 5 - 14 N m (205 + 4 - 10 lb ft).
Repeat Steps 1 and 4 for the other side.
Fill the axle with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Axle Oil (Rear) - Change" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)".End By: Install the axle. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle - Install".
