Description of Change: A new electronic control module for the engine and the hydraulic pump is used in order to eliminate overheating in the Hydraulic system. The new electronic control contains new settings for the power reduction control mode for controlling the overheating in Low Sound configurations.The Low Sound configurations are carried out on the listed machines in order to meet new European Union regulations for sound suppression. The new EU regulations for sound suppression may be exceeded in machines that are operating in extremely high ambient temperatures and extreme applications.Adaptable To: The new 185-2522 Electronic Control is a direct replacement for the former 126-3032 Engine Ratings Electronic Control. This replacement is valid only in the 6C-6843 Engine Electronic Control and Mounting Gp that is equipped on the listed machines.The new 185-2522 Electronic Control is effective with the following Excavators: 375 (6NK309), 375 L (9WL304) and 5080 (6XK202).The new 185-2522 Electronic Control is adaptable to the following Excavators: 375 (6NK223-308), 375 L (9WL191-303) and 5080 (6XK161-201).The new control may be installed on the adaptable machines in the place of the former 126-3032 Engine Ratings Electronic Control. Refer to the Service Manual module, SENR6155-03, "Engine and Pump Electronic Control Systems for 315, 317, 322, 350, 375, 5080", "Controller Replacement" for instructions for replacing the controller.Refer to the Service Manual module, SENR6155-03, "Engine and Pump Electronic Control Systems for 315, 317, 322, 350, 375, 5080", "Governor Actuator Replacement and Calibration" and Service Manual module, SENR6155-03, "Engine and Pump Electronic Control Systems for 315, 317, 322, 350, 375, 5080", "Proportional Reducing Valve Calibration" for instructions in order to calibrate the governor actuator and the proportional reducing valve.
