***** Parts Stock *****Remove all 1355386, 1853628, and 1853629 SHAFTASSEMBLIES from parts stock.***** Affected Product *****
Remove the old steering shaft.
Install the 2544599 grommet onto the steeringshaft between the U Joints (1853628 and 1853629 replacements only).
Install the shaft assembly through the cab walland attach the grommet to the wall.
Slide the 2413818 Collar over the end of the steeringshaft.
Connect the new steering shaft (2354183, 2354184,or 2354185) to the pump using the 9X2406 Dowel.
Position the 2413818 Collar over the assembledjoint and secure with the 8B7179 Setscrew. Apply the 9S3263 Thread Lockto the setscrew threads.
The 2413818 Collar-Retainer must beused to attach the shaft to the steering pump. When replacing one of theOld Part Numbers listed in the table above do not reuse the 1355295 Tube.Failure to use the 2413818 Collar may result in the steering shaft becomingdetached from the pump.SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
