(4) 8X0726 Guard.Adaptable To: Effective with 994 (9YF68-UP) Loaders, the 8X0721 and 8X0724 Guards will no longer be installed on standard 994 Loaders. Both guards will still be available for parts service, should the need arise, for a machine equipped without these guards. The guards are part of the 1090036 Crankcase Guard Group (not serviced as a group). In some applications, it may be possible to permanently remove both of these guards on earlier 994 (9YF1-67) Loaders.
Customers and dealers should consult with each other to determine whether the removal of the 8X0721 and 8X0724 Guards on earlier machines is practical for a particular machine's application.The 8X0725 and 8X0726 Guards are still part of 8X0026, which is now named the "Transmission Guard Group", and is not serviced as a group. These guards will still be installed on all current machines.
