45. Fasten a hoist and tooling (L) to plate assembly (70). Put the plate assembly in position on the housing assembly.46. Install six dowels (71) and twelve springs (74).47. Align the gears in the planetary group with gear (69), and install the gear.48. Start with a disc, and install five discs (72) and four plates (73). alternate the discs and plates.49. Put seals (65) and (66) in position in the grooves in piston (68). Put clean SAE 30 oil on the seals.50. Put piston (68) in position in housing (64).51. Install tooling (F) to hold the piston in housing (64).52. Fasten a hoist and tooling (L) to housing (64). Put the housing and piston in position on the planetary group.53. Install two bolts (67) to hold housing (64) in place on the planetary group. 54. Put gear (56) in position on the shaft assembly.55. Put bearings (60) in gears (61).56. Install gears (61) and washers (59) and (62) in carrier assembly (49).57. Install shaft (63) in carrier assembly (49) and through the washers and gear. Make sure the rubber in pins (55) is not worn or damaged. If the rubber in the pins is damaged or worn, replace the pins.58. Align the hole in shaft (63) with the hole in the carrier assembly. Install pin (55). Install the pin until the end of the pin is even with the surface of the carrier assembly.59. Install bearing (54) in the carrier assembly. Install the bearing with the notch in the inner race of the bearing toward hub assembly (50).60. Use tool (E) to install snap ring (53) in the carrier assembly to hold the bearing in place.61. Align the dowel in hub (50) with the notch in bearing (54) and install the hub.62. Use tool (D) to install snap ring (52) to hold the hub in place.63. Put retaining ring (57) in position in the groove in carrier assembly (49). 64. Compress the retaining ring, and put the carrier assembly in position in gear (58). Make sure the retaining ring goes into the groove in gear (58).65. Fasten a hoist and tooling (H) to carrier assembly (49).66. Align the gears in the carrier assembly and gear (58) with the gears in the planetary group, and install the carrier assembly.67. Use tool (D) to install snap ring (51) to hold the carrier assembly in place.68. Start with a disc, and install three discs (48) and two plates (46), alternate discs and plates.69. Put 12 springs (47) in position in the housing.70. Put seals (37) and (38) in position in the grooves in piston (39). Put clean SAE 30 oil on the seals.71. Put piston (39) in position in housing (36).72. Install tooling (F) to hold the piston in housing (36).73. Fasten a hoist and tooling (L) to housing (36).74. Put housing (36) and the piston in position on the planetary group.75. Align gear (45) with the gears in the carrier assembly, and install the gear. Align the dowels in housing
