Remove the drive shaft. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Main Drive Shaft - Remove and Install".

Raise ripper (1). Install Tooling (B). Lower ripper (1) onto Tooling (B).
Release hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic System Pressure - Release".
Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto ripper tooth (4). Remove pin (3) and pin (2). Lower ripper tooth (4) to the ground. The weight of ripper tooth (4) is approximately 363 kg (800 lb).
Repeat Step 3 for the other ripper teeth.
Start the engine. Raise ripper (1). Remove Tooling (B). Lower ripper (1) to the ground.
Release hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic System Pressure - Release".

Remove bolts (5). Reposition pin assembly (6) to a position that is flush with the mounting bracket.

Attach Tooling (C) and a suitable lifting device to plate (8). Remove bolts (7). Remove plate (8).

Disconnect harness assembly (10). Remove light (11). Disconnect hose assemblies (15). Remove filter housing assemblies (12).
Remove bolts (13) in order to remove cover (14). Disconnect harness assembly (9).

Disconnect harness assembly (16). Remove bolts (17). Reposition bracket assembly (18) to the side.

Remove yoke assembly (19). Remove bolts (20) in order to remove plate (21).

Adjust Tooling (D). Dimension (Y) 311 mm (12.25 inch). Dimension (X) 64 mm (2.5 inch).

Install tooling (D) onto transmission (22). Remove bolts (23). Remove transmission (22). The weight of transmission (22) is approximately 771 kg (1700 lb). Note: Do not remove recessed bolts. The recessed bolts retain the bevel gear assembly.
