Inspection and Cleaning
Inspect and clean the GNSS receivers of the CatGrade Control System when removed from the machine or when the GNSS receivers are serviced. Use the list that follows in order to inspect the GNSS receivers and clean the GNSS receivers.
Check the connectors for corroded contacts or dirty contacts.
Check the connectors for stripped threads or otherwise damaged threads.
Clean the GNSS receivers with glass cleaner or with water and a mild detergent.
To prevent damage to the GNSS receivers, do not use solvents to clean the GNSS receivers. Included are: alcohol, acetone, de-greasers, paint thinners and other hydrocarbon base type solvents.
